Steel is my artistic language. I respect the specificities of the metal and let myself be driven by the natural physico-chemical laws which are specific to this material.

The metallurgical chemistry, the capacity of steel to naturally react to elements such as water, fire, combined with different techniques reveal a color, a texture, a grain, a special skin.

These discoveries allow me to create a drawing work without adding any painting, at the heart of the material.

My sculptures are made out of flat steel sheets which are cut, organized and structured by stamping, rolling and forging. Then the material is enriched through cutting, engraving and different additions. Assembled by welding, these parts become a volume... a sculpture... a whatever.
